I started this website July 1st, 2007 to make and save you money! Maybe even your families future well being! I'm not saying this is for everyone.

I have always wanted to make something better than the way I found it. "If Possible."  Sometimes when look at something hard enough, you find it just cannot be improved upon. Then there are times when you see a item or idea and say what were they thinking that day? I try not to waste my time improving something that is just not worth it. However, today there are so many things that need improving I don't know where start. Think about it... How many times do you hear, Damn there has got to be a better way to do that. Or, I can't believe that's the best we can do. More often than not, people complain about something rather than improve it because it's easier to complain than do something about it.

12 years ago, I thought I could improve upon auto repair and sales industry by trying to get customers to change their buying habits. Providing them with an honest auto repair facility and used auto sales lot. I think I was doing a pretty good job. Then the State of Ohio decided to close an interstate bridge over I-75. The bridge was scheduled to be finished in 6-8 months. It was 11 months before it was finished. What do you think it did to my business? I had enough money and credit to make to through 2 years with minor problems. Needless to say 11 months of no traffic was no minor problem. My first three months of business I did over $120.000 in business. "Remember I was only open for 4 months before the interstate bridge closed." The eleven months I did less than $90.000. Now small as it seems this was my dream. My father-in-law encouraged me to wait before moving forward but when you want to own you own business by the time you are 30, well you don't always think straight. In hind site he was right. A banker once told me that this tough time would make me a better business man out of me. I failed to see the relevance in that statement then but now 12 years later, I understand.

What did I learn? After 7 of my own small businesses, I learned you better have a lot of money before opening one. 20 years ago it was much easier to open a business and make it grow. Think about it... The economics were much easier then than they are today. Example: Utilities, percentage wise higher than ever. Gasoline, $3.00 plus per gallon. Taxes, Higher than ever. Employees, much more profitable then than now. Would you like for me to keep going? OK... Insurance, yes it can be helpful but it can also kill your business if you have claims that exceed your insurance companies tolerance levels. "It must be nice to have a business where you can collect premiums, in some cases you customer must legally use your product and you can drop your customer when they no longer become profitable." If you or I started a business like that they would throw us in jail. Bottom line, Don't get suckered in, don't do it. There is a reason 90% of all small business today don't make it and I just showed them to you.

It may seem as though I am being negative. Honest I'm not, I am so Positive that sometimes it gets me into trouble. I am saying that these are the facts. Don't overlook them when going into business for yourself.

2 years ago, I came up with an idea that would improve Business Advertising while lowering the cost of it at the same time. After researching several business "who loved my idea", I decided to move forward. Here I go again. But this time I have my experience to come along with me. Not only do I feel more confident than ever, but I look forward to helping small businesses avoid some of the advertising mistakes I made when I was in one of those small businesses. The best thing is, my renewal rate is over 75%. You know what that means, income you can count on again and again and again!
